James are you entering your “grey” period?

Lovely, very interesting move into black and white. I just got back from Sicily and at a cathedral in Palermo there were these Byzantine mosaic tile patterns that look a lot like your work. I’ll have to send you some photos. Hope you are well.

  3. I am painting giant circles right now, a series called Galileo’s Assistant. So you can imagine how pleased i was to stumble upon your site here on the net, something I never do really!
I am 34 and I’m showing and all but I really seek some connection to others whose work I can relate to on a spiritual metaphysical level as yours.
My newest work will be shown in Singapore at the Intl Art Fair, a first time for me and at Toronto’s DeLeon White Gallery this Sept 6.
I use the astrological charts of pop icons as a basis to explore the tension between geometric and expressionist forms of abstraction.
I work intuitively and connect with the effect the icon has had on my aesthetics overlaying these impressions onto charts for the likes of Roger Moore through to the Dalai Lama. i am about to start Fellini!
I hope you’ll take a look and tell me what you think.
I’ll be in Italy next week exploring my heritage before the next vernissage in Toronto.
    Your work is simply lovely.
    Take care, Lori

Nice work James! I’ve always felt there is some enormous power in geometric forms if only we can find it. Great to see you are doing so well. Yes, I am the guy that taught at Cap College those many years ago …

    Cheers
